Shakil Ahmed, President/CEO, Pyramid Consulting, Incorporated, willfully challenged himself in the Semiconductor Industry for 10-years. He graduated from the California State University, San Jose in 1994 with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. During the process of obtaining his B.S., he worked at IBM. After graduation he worked for Ultra Fab Technology where he used his skills from IBM and along with his education to advance from an entry level Sales Engineer to an Applications/Project Engineer in less than a year time. He started up Pyramid Consulting in November of 1998 with no capitol investment in his hands, and brought the company to a 1999 fiscal year end revenue just under $1,000,000. Recently, Shakil Ahmed accepted a Whoís Who award.



Information Technology Division 

Andrew H. Lotz has been employed in the Hi-Tech industry for over 20 years. Graduating from Oregon Institute of Technology in 1978 with both a B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology, and a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering Technology. During the progression from entry-level Engineer to Director of Field Operations, he managed Customer Service Departments, Quality Assurance Departments, and a Test Engineering department. He also developed, staffed, and supervised three reliability labs and one standards lab; developed and implemented a corporate reliability program; and wrote and implemented two different production data systems. He established service groups that were located in various areas of the United States and offshore and set up a Customer Call Center. Lastly, Andrew managed a staff that designed process tools that saved a company millions of dollars per year in handling cost due to damaged materials.




Logistics Division

Patrick R. Rostrata has been employed in the Logistics industry for over 6-years. He was educated and trained at San Diego Miramar College, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and San Jose State Universityís Professional Development Center where he received his certificate in Systems Engineering. Additionally, he has been certified as a Dangerous Goods Specialist in 1997 by the Bureau of Dangerous Goods Cranbury, New Jersey in the inspection of hazardous materials for air transportation. Mr. Rostrataís background includes extensive business experience in aviation, transportation & logistics, supply-chain management, and international trade. His projects included worldwide transportation and logistics management, warehousing and distribution and implementing process improvements for Fortune 500 companies such as BAX Global, Roadway Global Air (RGA), Cisco Systems, Inc. and HITACHI Transport Systems.


Organizational Development Division

Michael Torres, Psy.D., completed his Masterís level training in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology at California State University, Long Beach in 1993. Since that time he has worked primarily with emotionally disturbed adults and adolescents in hospital settings, where he has conducted group therapies promoting emotional well being and understanding of self. Michael completed his Doctoral training at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) in Alameda with the goal of performing licensed, individual/group/family psychotherapy in the near future, as well as organizational consultation.
