PCI features a Preferred Provider Option (PPO) as well as HMO Options by California Choice (includes Blue Shield, Aetna U.S. Healthcare, Health Net, and CIGNA Healthcare of California). All the plans provide benefits for preventative medical care, as well as comprehensive coverage for such services as maternity, prescription drugs, emergency treatment, mental health care and hospitalization.

Dental is an important element of employee health care coverage. The Security Life Dental Plan works much like the PPO Medical Plans. An employee may use any licensed dentist. When an employee uses a dentist who is a member of the Security Life Dental Network, the Plan pays a higher percentage of eligible expenses.

When employees need vision care, Vision One Eyecare Program provides licensed optometrists. Vision One Eyecare Program offers a nationwide network of Vision Care Providers.

PCI wants to ensure that all employees are have an option to go see a Chiropractor should back, neck, or carpal tunnel syndrome arise. With the ChiroPlus plan through Landmark Healthplan, this will never be an issue.

Pyramid typically observes the following holidays:

  • New Year's Day

  • Martin Luther King day

  • President day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day and the Day after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve Day (half day)

  • Christmas day

  • New Year's Eve (half day)

  • 2 floating Holidays assigned at the beginning of the year

Certain employees may be assigned to be "on-call" during holidays to fulfill Pyramid's 24/7 policy and "on-call" requirements. "On Call" employees who are actually required to work on a holiday will be paid minimum of four hours.

Sick Time
PCI Provides employees with five sick days per year.

Personal Time
When a special event, such as a marriage or the birth of a child, occurs an employee may be allowed up to five days paid personal time. This is not an annual program and will be granted as deemed appropriate. Paternity leaves of up to five days are included in this program.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Although PCI is not a Publicly Traded Company, it is currently setting up a Stock Purchase Plan which will allow for the employees to invest in PCI’s future, as well as their own.
